1979
Right after graduation, Eng. Ayman Korra moved to Nubaria area as a pioneer in land reclamation and have built a reputation of quality fruit since then.
1981
Our farms have been recognized and visited by former presidents Anwar El Sadat for their excellence and for being the first in Egypt to introduce Drip Irrigation System
1985
After that, we were visited by former president Hosny Mubarak at the same farm for its distinction.
1985
Eng. Ayman has successfully introduced new, highly productive crop varieties to the Egyptian market. Initially, he introduced the Florida Prince peach, followed by other high-yield varieties of peaches, mangoes, and grapes.
2000 – 2003
During Korra's chairmanship of the HEIA organization, he spearheaded the establishment of the perishable terminal at Cairo International Airport, which is a crucial infrastructure that contributed significantly to Egyptian agricultural exports.
2005
Korra Agri started growing globally and exporting its fresh fruits to Europe and UK
2006
We added strawberries to our list of premium exported fruits
2007
He was selected as a committee member for the Agricultural Modernization Committee (لجنة تحديث الزراعة) under the Minister of Agriculture, during the tenure of former Minister Amin Abaza.
2010
Korra Agri brought a new farm specialized only in strawberry – named Berry Egypt – and had a new state of the art pre-cooling and packing house facility established there, ensuring that all hygiene, safety and control measures, are being observed.
2012
We initiated the contractual farming project, now collaborating with more than 50 families.
